Please see below our terms and conditions of stay whilst at Oaklands Boarding Kennels.
- Our rates are charged by the night however an extra ½ charge will be added if you request to drop off in the morning and if you do not collect until the afternoon.
- Our price includes all food & treats, 2 exercise sessions daily, heating, bedding, insurance, VAT and the administering of any medicines. There are no hidden extras.
- Drop off time for your dog(s) is Monday-Friday 3.00pm-5.30pm, Saturday and Sunday 3.00pm-4.30pm. If a drop off is needed in the AM we can accommodate this, if requested at time of booking for an extra 1/2 charge.
- Collection time for your dog(s) is 08.30am-10.00am, if an afternoon collection is needed this can be accommodated if requested at the time of booking, however will be charged at an extra ½ charge.
- A non refundable or transferrable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your dates. We accept payment online via stripe, over the phone, via Bank Transfer, cheques or cash. Deposits will be amended if the stay total is less than the deposit amount.
- No dogs will be returned to owners until full payment has been received.
- Any cancellations must be paid in full unless 14 days’ notice is given prior to booking arrival date.
- All dogs must be fully vaccinated including the kennel cough and the vaccination record must accompany the dog during its stay. We have the right to refuse your dog if they are not vaccinated.
- If your dog is not able to have the Kennel Cough Vaccine due to advice from your vet, we may accept your dog/s with a vet note. We do not accept any responsibility for any problems that occur from no vaccination and your dog will be isolated and will not be exercised with other dogs.
- Medication can be administered at no extra cost, it must be supplied with clear instructions.
- We ask that any dietary or medical needs are brought to our attention before your dog arrives.
- On arrival we will as you a number of questions about your dog(s) this is so we can best accommodate your dogs needs, the more information you give us the easier it is for us to meet your dogs requirements.
- We supply all baskets and bedding . We use ‘Vet bed’ which is a non-allergen, anti-chew fleece recommended by veterinarians. This retains heat helping to keep your dog warm and cosy. With unique drainage properties, if your pet should have an accident, the ‘Vet Bed’ will drain the liquid through, keeping the top of the bedding dry, so your pet stays warm and dry.
- We will accept a small piece of clothing or a blanket and toys which can help your dog to settle in whilst staying with us.
- Please be aware any items that you bring with your dog are bought at your own risk and that we take no responsibility for loss or damage to any bedding, toys, leads, collars and/or coats that maybe supplied by you,
- There are revised opening hours for Bank Holidays and the Christmas period, please check these on booking.
- Whilst every dog is cared for and given as much love and attention as possible during its stay at Oaklands Boarding Kennels, we cannot be held responsible for loss either from illness or any other causes.
- When every necessary you agree to your dog(s) to be examined and treated by a vet surgeon, our nominated vets is Shires Veterinary Practice, Stone, unless otherwise stated. All fees incurred during the boarding period that are not covered by insurance will be the responsibility of the customer and paid in full at the time of collection. We will endeavour to make contact first prior to treating your dog dependent upon severity.
- If any dog is not collected within 14 days of collection date and no communication is received from the contacts given, we will endeavour to find a suitable home for the dog(s)
